Having recently been engaged by an organisation to deliver some sessions on Cultural Intelligence, I was reminded how much diversity is always present in the room, even when it may not be overtly apparent. 
With so much discourse about equity as well as the black lives matter movement that has emerged, it gave me pause to think about the ways we are so similar and different and the assumptions we make. Being more inclusive starts with the individual.
I urge you to reflect on how your assumptions may be exclusive even if unintentional and the ways in which you can be more inclusive. Opening yourself and learning more about others is a great start!
