IF YOU WANT THINGS TO BE DIFFERENT, BE THE DIFFERENCE

Recently I was in a conversation about the little things that we as individuals can do to affect change.
Many of the changes that are needed are systemic and structural and therefore there is a limit to what individuals can do.
An example is climate change, an individual may not be able to directly influence government policy or societal shifts however it is possible for them to make choices on how they live their lives which can have an impact. Those small choices do make a difference, for example using public transport or riding a bike, installing solar panels, minimising waste and packaging.
It is having a mindset that taking those little steps can and do make a difference.
