Do you have a favourite quote, poem, piece of writing? Do you have a piece that you can always return to? I have quite a collection gathered over the years from various people, Nelson Mandela, James Clear, Shakespeare to the Dalai Lama. I find them useful to maintain a sense of perspective during different times in my life. One of favourites is the Stoic perspective, ‘Momento Mori’ – keep death daily in front of your eyes. I find it a useful reminder that life is short and to make the most of it.
