Change is constant and a requirement of leadership. A leader I was working with introduced a process change and was met with some resistance from his team. Have you ever experienced that?
The leader had already assimilated the change in their own mind. It is important to understand the people go through different processes when dealing with change and to allowing for that.
Being self-aware, encouraging diversity of thinking and listening to concerns make the change process easier to communicate.
