On an aircraft, in the event of an emergency you are always directed to place an oxygen mask on yourself first and then assist others. This also applies to life in general, particularly in the current times.

During the pandemic it has been my experience that it is easier to care for others and neglect yourself. You need to give yourself permission to look after yourself without guilt.

What are some things you could do to allocate some time for self-care? What are the ways or methods that you are able to bring that well-being into your life?

I find walking the dog, having time out in nature, listening to podcasts or talking with friends brings a sense of well-being.
